Biography
Winnie "Loretta"[1] Freeman was born on March 10, 1909, in Bessemer City, North Carolina[2], the child of William Freeman and Etta Yelton[3]. She married Harold Collins on July 6, 1929, in Buncombe, North Carolina. She died June 24, 2006, in Black Mountain, North Carolina, at the age of 97, and was buried in Swannanoa, North Carolina.
