Charles was born in 1874 in Decatur County, Georgia.[1]
Charles Freeman was married three times. His first wife died soon after the birth of their child, who died as well. He married Florence Eva Fletcher.[2]
Eva and Charles had several children together. She died of an infection at the age of 25. Charles married lastly to Eliza Donalson, and they had several children as well.[3]
