George Mason Black b. 1795, d. 21 May 1872, m. (1st) Emily Freeman b. 1798 at Amherst, NS, d. 28 Mar 1833, d/o Samuel Freeman and Eunice Bent of Amherst, NS: had two sons and three daughters: m. (2nd) 4 Aug 1833 at Memramcook, NB, Sarah Smith born 1815, d. 15 Mar 1874, d/o Gideon Smith: they settled at Dorchester and had eight sons and six daughters.[1]
