Biography

  • Elisha Freeman was born November 3, 1820, the son of Dennis and Jemima Freeman Freeman in Liverpool, Nova Scotia[1]
  • On November 1, 1848 he married Eunice Freeman, (born August 12, 1820, daughter of Bartlett Bradford and Nancy McClearn Freeman) [1]
  • Eunice died in 1851, and is buried in Milton Community Cemetery in Milton, Nova Scotia[2]
  • In 1858, Elisha married Harriet Allen (born circa 1833) of Massachusetts and had children[3], including:
  1. Otis A Freeman born circa 1862 in Massachusetts
  2. Eunice W Freeman born Mar. 10, 1864 in Massachusetts, and died Nov. 22, 1889. She is buried with her parents in Hope Cemetery in Worcester[4]
  3. Harriet J Freeman born circa 1869[5], who married George H Putnam in 1893[6]
  • Elisha died December 28, 1894 in Worcester and is buried in Hope Cemetery [7]
