Biography

Annaatjen and her twin sister Marretjen were baptized in the Reformed Dutch Church of Kingston, New York, on 3 January 1720, recorded as the children of Jacob Freer and Antjen Van Weyen. Witnesses were Gerardus Herdenberg, Marretjen Herdenberg, Flip Hoogteeling and Jannetjen Roosa.[1]

Annaatjen may have died in infancy, as her parents gave the name Antjen to a daughter baptized on 2 April 1721.
