Samuel French was a son of Samuel French and Mary (Collins). A transcribed birth record of Salisbury, Massachusetts, gives his birth date, 14 Aug 1734 [1], which is supported by the original hand-written records [2],[3].
Notes
The life and fate of this Samuel French are obscure. Significant investigation should be applied to discern spousal and descendancy relationships.
A 23 November 1796 death record for a Mary French may be relevant [4], however there are no marriage records yet put forth to substantiate the identity of Samuel's spouse(s).
