Daily News (Bowling Green, KY) - Saturday, September 4, 2004

Gordon French, 93, of Bowling Green died at 4:36 p.m. Sept. 2, 2004, at The Medical Center.

The Warren County native was a retired farmer and member of Penns Chapel Church of Christ. He was a son of the late Leigh French and Nora Wingfield French and the husband of the late Lois Mayhew French. He was preceded in death by a son, Gordon French Jr.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel, with burial in Penns Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include two sons, Loran "Buster" French and his wife, Dorothy, and Bobby Joe French and his wife, Patty, all of Bowling Green; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
