Biography

Elizabeth French. [1][2][3] was born about 1694 in Mansfield Township, NJ. [4]. She is the daughter of Richard French and Sarah Scattergood. She married William Scholey and had at least 10 children.[5]

Elizabeth died 27 JAN 1761 in Morristown, Morris, New Jersey, USA. [6][7] and is buried in the Friends Cemetery in Randolph, NJ.[8]

Elizabeth had been placed as the daughter of Richard French's 2nd wife, Mary King. But, Sarah Scattergood French didn't die until about 1700 and Elizabeth was born in 1694.
