Residence Dreghorn Village; born in Irvine, Scotland; married aged 30; occupation coalminer; religion protestant; wholly disabled - phthisis. Dependants: wife Margaret Robb 23, Elizabeth Frew 2, Annie Frew 1 yr 2 m. This man has been off work since December last. First application. 18 Sep relieved 4/-. No. 177 on Register. "

Dependants: Elizabeth Frew 3, Annie Frew 2, Janet Frew 7 week. This woman is the widow of Thomas Frew who died on 1 Aug 1876. First application. 14 Oct - relieved. No. 191 on Register."
