Note: About late 1830, they migrated to Crawford County, Pennsylvania along with Lydia's brother, David Xander, and his wife, Hannah (Black). Four years lated they purchased, as tenant in common with the Xanders, a farm of about 200 acres in Hayfield Township (Saegerstown). They divided the land equally in 1840. Several years later they sold their land and moved to Adams County, Illinois. The Xanders had previously moved there.[16]
