Orealine Fruge was born to William Fruge and Celeste Janis in about 1861, possibly in the month of August.[1] In the 1870 census dated 9 June 1870 lists her as eight years old[2] which is consistent with being born in August 1861. By the time of the next census she is living in the next household to her sister Zoia and Zoia's husband Charles Bell.[3]

The one year old living with Oraline appears to be a child she had with Charles Bell, seemingly while he was still married to Zoia. Constance's marriage record names Orealine as her mother.[4]
She had a number of children with Charles and after he died she wed John Vige around 1898.[1]
At the time of the 1900 Census, Orealine indicates she's had 7 children with 6 currently living.[1] This suggests the above is missing one child since Benjamin has not yet been born. Census does not list Zemon, who is older than Joseph Dewar / Demar and is living with Domelise Bell (dau of Charles Bell and 1st wife Zoia) and her husband Alphonse Marcantel.
She died 18 November 1946 in Allen Parish, Louisiana. [8]
