Biography

Zephirin Fruge was born 6 November 1872 in St Landry Parish.[1]

He married Laura Fontenot, the daughter of Acduel Fontenot and Eustache Miller at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Chatagnier, LA on 11 May 1893.[2]

They had at least one daughter, Nola, who was born on 1 September 1894.[3] Oddly, she is not listed as living with them at the time of 1900 census although her mother tallies that she has had one child who is still living.[4]

Zephirin died 11 April 1944 in Basile, LA.[5]
