Biography
Matilda J Chasteen was enumerated as wife at Prairie Township, Franklin County, Arkansas for the June 21, United States Census, 1880. She was noted as keeping house, born 1852 in Tennessee and married as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self Henry Chasteen, son James Chasteen, daughter (son) Japtha N Chasteen and daughter Florance I Chasteen.[1]
