John Fulford was a part of the 2nd regiment of the Connecticut militia from 27 Mar to 16 Nov 1758. He was also a Connecticut centinel who was discharged on 2 Dec 1759.
Jonathan Fulford Sr. served with Loyalists during the American Revolution.

He died on 14 Jan 1831 at Elizabethtown, Leeds, Ontario, Canada.
He donated the land for the creation of Fulford Pioneer Cemetery in 1786 at Brockville, Ontario, Canada where he is buried. [3]
Research Notes
There is confusion between Jonathan and John Fulford. They seem to be from the same family, but their records are confused. Some records state "J" initial as the first name, but it's unclear whether they mean John or Jonathan.
