William Fulford is part of a Bahamian family.

Biography

William Henry Fulford was born in 1808 in Nassau, Bahamas to Captain William Gibson Fulford and his first wife, Catherine Finlayson Fulford. He was baptized 5 February 1809 at Christ Church, Nassau, Bahamas.

In 1823, he accompanied his stepmother, to New York City on the schooner "Trio" - captained by his father, William Gibson Fulford.

William Henry Fulford married Maria Patience Mather, daughter of William Mather and Patience Curry Mather, in 1830 at Christ Church, Nassau, Bahamas. Maria Patience Fulford died in 1831.

William Henry married, second, Susan Frances Kelly, daughter of at Harbour Island, Bahamas 25 April 1832. They had known children: Charlotte Jane, Robert William, William, George, James, Hiram Gibson and Maria Jane Fulford.

William Henry Fulford died "in the 42nd year of his age" in Nassau, Bahamas 10 August 1850.
