Biography

Thankful Fuller was born in 1686 in Barnstable, Massachusetts,^[1][2] daughter of John Fuller and Mehitable Rowley. She was baptized at the age of 3 on 19 May 1689 Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachusetts.^[1]

She married Jabez Crippen. on 9 July 1707 at Colchester.^[1][3]

The will of Thomas Crippen Senr of Haddam names wife Frances, son Jabez Crippen and others. Thankful, wife of Jabez Crippen, was admitted to full communion in the First Church of East Haddam on 29 June 1712. The latest record of Thankful is her dismissal from the church at Westchester (Colchester) , Connecticut to the church at Sharon, Connecticut on 18 May 1740.^[1]

She died after May, 1740 at Sharon, Litchfield County, Connecticut and was buried at Hillside Cemetery, Sharon, Litchfield County, Connecticut.^[1] Her memorial has some biographical material and links to many family members.^[4]

She is reported to have died 20 May 1748 Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachusetts^[5], though that contradicts other data.
