Obituary

Resident Here 75
Years, Died Friday

———

Helen Wilmer Fuller was born on November 26, 1854, in Pike, Wyoming county, New York. She was the daughter of Cyrennus and Sarah Fuller.

When Helen was four years old she with her parents and eight brothers and sisters came west. They took the train as far as Chicago and from there they traveled by carriage to Wisconsin.

The family settled on a farm west of Delavan where they lived until 1870, at which time they moved onto another farm and lived there 17 years, after which they moved into the city of Delavan in the house on Second street where Mary and Helen lived 42 years.

Miss Fuller was a member of the local Baptist church. She united with the church during Rev. Halderman's pastorate.

For 30 years Miss Fuller clerked in the W. W. Bradley & Co. store.

About three weeks ago Miss Fuller fell and fractured her hip. Since then she has been under the care of a nurse and gradually grew worse until Friday, August 4, when she died.

She is survived by a sister, Mary Fuller, and a brother, Will Fuller, both of Delavan.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the home with the Rev. J. R. Estes, pastor of the Baptist church officiating. Burial was in Spring Grove cemetery.[2]
