Death.— I am sorry to have to report the death of Mrs. George Whittaker, which took the place, last Friday morning, after a protracted illness. Her amiable disposition and blameless life endeared her to all who knew her. Great sympathy is felt for the sorrowing family, and especially her father
and mother, who only a fortnight ago buried their youngest daughter. Mrs. Whittaker died at the early age of thirty, and leaves a sorrowing husband and three little boys to mourn the loss of a wise and loving mother. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. E. Spencer, who impressively rendered the beautiful service of the Church of Engalnd. With so much death around us it
brings the fact home that life is but a school and we should take its lessons seriously.
