Thankful and her son Jeremiah were named in her father's will. Jeremiah Fuller of Newton, yeoman, being aged and ill of body, made his will on 9 March 1742/3 which was proved on 13 February 1743. He named, among others, daughter Thankfull Wissell and grandson Jeremiah Wissel. To Jeremiah Wissell he gave a silver spoon marked EFT.[3]
Thankfull died in Newton on 19 April 1745, [4] shortly after the birth of her 13th child.
Her widower remarried in 1752, had four more children, and lived until 1786 in Newton aged 86 years.[5]
