In Castles and Conquests by Guy Funderburk, p. 69 under Jacob and Barbara (DeLaney) Funderburk, is shown Jane Funderburk b 1790 md to Sam McManus.
On p. 102 of the same book is shown Samuel Funderburk and his Indian wife, Sarah "Sally" and among their 10 children is Jane b1816 incorrectly married to William Hayes.
These two statements are mixed up. Jane Funderburk b:1816 md Samuel McManus b:1806 as his second wife. They are buried at Oak Hill Baptist Church in Lancaster County.
Jane is buried at Oak Hill Baptist Church Jane, wife of Samuel McManus, Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. Near her is Samuel McManus born 1806.
The McManus bible also references Jane's first name as Martha. The bible pages were entered by two different people and some apparently after the fact but is clearly an old record which fits with what has been learned of this family. [2]
