He married Barbara Newcomer in Maryland in 1819.[1]
In 1850, Samuel was living in Pine Creek, Ogle County, Illinois.[2]
He passed away in Illinois in 1851. Burial was in the Pine Creek Brethren Cemetery in Pine Creek Township, Ogle County, Illinois.[3]
