Gravitt Tatum Lewis was my 3rd great-grandfather. He was married to Mary "Polly" Fuqua in Williamson County, Tennessee. I feel that his father was Elam Lewis, because Gravitt inherited a portion from his mother Sarah Tatum Lewis. She had died and her part from her father had passed to her children. She was Elam's first wife, so I feel sure that Elam is his father. Don't have any info on Elam. The Lewis Tree is on Ancestry. com managed by my brother Clyde.
