Peter Furlong 1737 - 1833 Talbenny Married 1769 St Brides Elizabeth Williams 1757 St Ishmaels

All the information we have regarding Peter Furlong and Elizabeth Williams is their marriage in St Brides in 1769. The couple married 26th August 1769 at St Brides parish church in Pembrokeshire. We know that the couple had at least five children. Lettice was the eldest and was baptised at Talbenny parish church in 1769. She later married Richard Lewis in 1803. The second child of Peter and Elizabeth five children was Margaret, and she was baptised in 1771 at St Ishmael’s parish church. Margaret remained single throughout her life, and spent a little time living with her sister Elizabeth and her brother in law David Luke. Elainor Furlong the third child of peter and Elizabeth married Thomas Rees and had at least five children, and possibly a fifth. The fourth child of Peter and Elizabeth was Elizabeth, and she married David Luke, and had five children. The youngest child of Peter and Elizabeth was John Furlong, but he possibly died aged three years old, and therefore had no children

Peter and Elizabeth lived at Webbs Hill (Broad Haven) Walton West. We know this fact because it was the last known address of Peter Furlong. He died at the ripe old age of 96, and was buried 26th February 1833 at Talbenny parish church. His date of birth is recorded as 1737
