Biography
Birth: 29 May 1822, Stanley Co., NC
He was elected Second Lieutenant Company B, 7th North Carolina Infantry on May 16, 1861 and First Lieutenant on June 27, 1862. He was wounded at the Battle of Fredericksburg on December 13, 1862, and resigned because of ill health on January 11, 1863. He was a member of the Masonic order when he died at the age of 73.

He married Sophia Millier, April 20,1841,Cabarrus,North Carolina.[1]
They had one son ,Franklin Henry Furr b. 1842-1911
2nd Marriage
Soloman married Avaline Brown,1844,Cabaruss,North Carolina.[2] They had three children:

- Martha Jane Furr b.1847
- Annie Furr b.1850
3rd Marriage
He married Jane m. Scott,March 31,1849,Cabarrus,North Carolina[3]
Solomon passed away May 13,1893,Cabarrus,North Carolina.[4][5]
