Lou was born in 1887. She was the daughter of James Gaar and Bettie Wilder. She passed away in 1966.
Obituary
Mrs. Emma Braswell Williams of Ruston died Sunday at Lincoln General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
The deceased was a native of Ruston and was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. She also belonged to the DMA (Don't Mention Age) and the Senior Citizen's group.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. today in Trinity Methodist Church with the Rev. Doug McGuire officiating, assisted by the Rev. James Lipscomb. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
Survivors include her husband, John A. Williams; one daughter, Mrs. W. F. Almand of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Allie Hilton of Ruston and Mrs. Sammie Hedgepeth of Ruston; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
