Deborah Gabitas was born on 5 Feb 1689 in Pennsylvania, daughter of William and Abigail Gabitas.[1]
Deborah was the wife of Tobias Griscom. Their intent to marry was recorded in Quaker Meeting Records in 1710 in Burlington, New Jersey.[2]
They settled on lands they inherited from Tobias's father in Gloucester, New Jersey and had children Andrew, Samuel, William, Tobias and Mary.[3]
Deborah is mentioned in the will of Tobias Griscom, proved Jan 1719/20 in Newton Colony, New Jersey (a Quaker colony). The will indicates that they had children but does not name them.[4] Her last name is not listed in the will.
It is not certain when she died, but it would be after 1720.
