Louise ,daughter of Louis Gagné and Louise Picard was born on 15 December 1676 in Cap-Saint-Ignace, Canada, New France, and baptized on 11 January 1677 in Québec (ville). Her godfather was Pierre Gagné, and her godmother was Ursule Cloutier wife of Nicolas Gamache.[1][2]
On 4 June 1696, Louise married Christophe DaLaJoue (1658-abt.1699), widow of Louise Deveau, and son of Jacques DaLaJoue and Madeleine Guérin, in Québec, Canada, New France. [3]
On 28 July 1699, Louise signed a marriage contract, with Pierre-Alphonse Blanchet, Notary Gilles Rageot (Cap-St-Ignace, PQ). [4]
