Biography

Agathe Gagné was born 06 Jun 1801 and was baptized the next day in Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption in Les Éboulements. She was the daughter of Joseph Marie Gagné and his wife Marie Thérèse Gagnon. Godparents at Agathe's baptism were Antoine Tremblay and her aunt Antoinne Gagnon. At age 26 Agathe married Daniel Desrosiers on 9 Jan 1827 in Saint-Germain parish, Rimouski. Agathe died on 13 Jun 1873 and was buried two days later in Sainte-Angèle-de-Méricie parish.
