Biography

Raphael Gagne was the son of Raphael Gagne and Marie-Joseph Alaire and the second husband of Marie-Francoise Pitre. He resided in Cahokia (in what is now Illinois) by 1773. In 1780, he was serving as a juror in George Clark's court.
