Biography

Judith Pendleton Gaines was born about 1770 in Colony of Virginia, daughter of Richard Barnett Gaines (1731–1804) and Jemima Pendleton (~1733–1805).

Judith (18) married Thomas Chancellor (43) (born about 1745 in Westmoreland County, Virginia Colony; son of Thomas Chancellor and Katherine Fitzgerald (Cooper) Chancellor) in 1789 in Westmoreland County, Virginia.[1] Their children were:

Judith died about 1825 in Wood, Virginia, United States, aged about 54.
