DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Henry by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Henry:

Gaines-84 and Gaines-37 appear to represent the same person because: Same mother, same father, same DOB, same siblings. Gaines-37 had three wives -- all his children were by the first, but he married two more in his old age. I see the note stating not to merge them in Gaines-37, but that profile was abandoned (I've adopted it) and unless there's a definitive source for Gaines-84's death date and location, these have got to be the same guy.

Gaines-37 and Gaines-84 do not represent the same person because: I don't believe these are correct persons. I guess I could be wrong but I see nothing to make me believe they are same person. I have doubts. Mindy

Gaines-84 and Gaines-37 are not ready to be merged because: Need to verify date of death.
Gaines-84 and Gaines-37 appear to represent the same person because: same wife, however, dates are different enough, I think some research into whether these are really the same person should be done. Clean up of the profiles may be necessary
