DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Benjamin by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Benjamin:

I think the correct wife is Sarah Chew Burgess, d/o Captain Edward and Sarah Chew Burgess. Colonial Families (VI 363) shows this line, not that this source is infallible. Also there is a Christening record for Sarah Burgess d/o of Edward and Sary at All Hallows Parish. Christened in 1698.

Did Benjamin Gaither really marry two women named Sarah Burgess?

Burgess-2658 and Burgess-2246 seem very similar, but have different siblings/parents/children.

Gaither-110 and Gaither-9 are not ready to be merged because: The Gaither 9 Shows Benjamin Gaither as brother to Benjamin Gaither. Possible I guess, but unlikely. Steve Fortune
