Biography

George Galloway, son of Samuel and Elizabeth (Graham) Galloway, was born about 1710 in Wigton or Kirkcudbright, Scotland.[1]

He arrived in Pennsylvania probably about 1740.[1]

He married Rebecca Junkin in 1741.[1]

George Galloway performed Patriotic Service in Pennsylvania in the American Revolution.

George paid the Supply Tax 1778, 1779, 1780, 1781.

His place of death is not known, he did have a will dated 1785 in Jefferson County, Kentucky.[1]

The source cited from Scotland Baptisms does not work for this George Galloway. It is for a James Galloway born in 1712 which is far too early for a son of this George Galloway.
