James Henry Gallup was born in 1839 in Ohio, United States.
In 1850, James Henry Gallop (11) in Liberty Township, Henry, Ohio, United States. [1]
James (30) married Amelia Hittle (20) (born in 1849 in Indiana; daughter of John P Hittle and Elizabeth (Sefton) Hittle) on September 8, 1870 in Decatur.[2] [3] Their children were:
- Pearl Gallup (1872–1942)
- Edith Gallup (1875–1966)
- George Hittle Gallup (1880–1945)
In 1880, James was living in Greensburg, Washington Township, Decatur, Indiana, United States. Born in Ohio. [4]
In 1900, James was living in Election Precinct 9, Arapahoe, Colorado. [5]
In 1910, James was living in Denver Ward 10, Denver, Colorado. [6]
James died in 1918, aged 78. He was buried in Fairmount Cemetery, Denver, Denver County, Colorado, USA (plot: block 24).[7]
