Biography

Elizabeth (Gardiner) Howell was a witchcraft accuser in the Salem Witch Trials
Elizabeth (Gardiner) Howell died from complications arising from the birth of Elizabeth Howell.

Daughter of Lion Gardiner and Mary Willemsen Deurcant.

Elizabeth married Arthur Howell and died when she was only sixteen. It is assumed she died in childbirth. Her daughter Elizabeth Howell survived. On her deathbed, Elizabeth accused a local woman, Goody Garlick of bewitching her. She had known Goody Garlick since their days in Lynn, MA. Goody Garlick was Elizabeth wife of Joshua Garlick Blanchard-2571, [1]

In Winthrop's court, Goody Garlick was not convicted.

Also, following up on your comment about (Unknown) Barthold, I removed him as a husband of Elizabeth. Looks like a gedcom full of misinformation was uploaded and then abandoned.

Elizabeth didn't marry anyone called Barthold; she married Howell and died when she was sixteen.
