Biography
Alse Gardner, daughter of Benjamin Gardner and Elizabeth Olin, was born on 6 May 1756 in Exeter Rhode Island. She married Justus Brockway in 1772 in Stephentown New York. They had 13 children (7 girls and 6 boys) between 1773 and 1801, probably all born in Stephentown, NY. See the list of children on her husband's profile.[1][2][3]
Her husband, 3 of her brothers, and probably her father, all served in the 4th regiment of the Albany County (New York) Militia during the Revolutionary War.
