MRS M. A. SINDERBERRY. Mourners from all parts of Singleton and district packed All Saints' Church of England on Saturday morning for the funeral service for Mrs. Mary Ann Sinderberry who passed away at her residence, Dunolly, on New Year's Day. Although she had suffered illness during the past few years her death was very unexpected and came as a great shock to her family and many friends. She was 74 years of age. Born in the district and a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Gardner of Dunolly she spent most of her lifetime in various parts of the Singleton area, where she became well known and loved by a host of friends. She came to live at Dunolly about eight years ago when her husband, Mr. E. H. Sinderberry, retired from his farming property at Warkworth. A retiring lady, her other main interest beside her work for the church was gardening, with which she continued until her death in spite of illness. Survived by her husband, she also leaves two daughters Myrtle (Mrs. James Wright) of Maison Dieu and Olga (Mrs Alan Stokes) of Gouldsville, and three sons, George of Singleton, William of Sydney and Leonard of Warkworth. A sister Rachel (Mrs. A. J. Noble) of Ravensworth and three brothers Messrs Harry Gunnedah). George (Bridgman Road) and James Gardner (Singleton) also survive her. She was predeceased by one sister, the late Mrs. Alice Rowland formerly of Camberwell. After the service at All Saints' Church on Saturday morning the funeral moved to the Sedgefield Cemetery where the last rites were per-formed. Messrs Partridge Bros made the funeral arrangements.
