Gardner-3294 and Gardiner-1164 appear to represent the same person because: John Gardiner is shown on page 11 of the Gardiners of Narranganset as ref #78.

I am a ydna Gardner with many dna matches but the dna matches are not being properly attributed. I agree with this John's ancestry thru Benoni (Benony) Gardner Gardiner-1394 which has the wrong parents. This Benoni shoud be sourced to the Gardiners of Narrangansett reference GN 2 and his father George GN 1 as shown on George Gardiner-38 in Wiki. I am inclined to think that Herodius Long as shown in in GN and Long-161 Wiki is Benoni's mother. Unfortunately George Gardiner has been set up with two different profiles. Gardiner-38 and the one Newell-916 set up that is noted as unsourced Gardiner-2183. Hopefully this will be reviewed. thanks all
