Biography

When Bethiah Gardner was born on August 15, 1714, in Salem, Massachusetts, her father, John, was 33, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 39. She married Nathaniel Ingersoll on September 1, 1737, in her hometown. They had ten children in 13 years. She died on July 30, 1773, in Salem, Massachusetts, at the age of 58, and was buried there.
