1943 Mar 19 Argus: DEATH OF MRS. E. E. THREADGATE The death occurred recently, at her residence, of Mrs. Edith Evelyn Threadgate, wife of Mr. J. H. Threadgate, of Luskintyre. Deceased was 60 years of age, and had not enjoyed the best of health for some years. She was a daughter of the late Mr, and Mrs. E. Gardiner, of Singleton, and Mesdames A Cann and H. Frith, of Singleton, are sisters. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Eileen (Luskintyre) and four sons, Les and Ron (Lochinvar) and Oscar and Clarence (Gresford). Deceased made many friends, who will greatly regret her demise. The remains were interred in the Church of England cemetery, Lochinvar. The Rev. G. Gilbert officiated at the church and cemetery, and the four sons acted as pallbearers. Many beautiful floral tributes were received
