Jessie Gardner/Gairdner may have been born on 19 July 1843[1] at Winburndale, New South Wales, Australia. She was possibly registered as Janet Gairdner but was known as Jessie.
The only birth registration for a child born to David and Elizabeth (Eliza) Gairdner in 1843 was named "Janet" [2]. Her siblings were Elizabeth Gairdner, William Woolfe Gardiner, John Gardiner, Jane Gardiner and Andrew Gardiner.
She married Albert Case on 17 June 1863 at Hartley, New South Wales, Australia [3] and their children were Albert Case, John Case, Jessie Case, Andrew Case, Martha Case, Susanna Case and Thomas Case.
Jessie died on 3 December 1905 in Wallerawang, New South Wales. [4] She was buried in Mount Lambie Presbyterian Church Graveyard, alongside her husband Albert, whose name is incorrectly recorded as Alfred on his headstone.
