Ruth Aldis, age 88, died Nov. 23, 2000, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born in Osawatomie Dec. 27, 1911, the daughter of Edmiston Jefferson Gardner and Ida Cupp Gardner. She married Dr. John Aldis Dec. 20, 1939, in Wilsey. He preceded her in death Sept. 5, 1965.
