Biography

When Howard Lewis Gardner was born on December 21, 1899, in Des Moines, Iowa, his father, William, was 26 and his mother, Rachel, was 22. He married Dorothy M Brown on November 23, 1926, in his hometown. He died in November 1961 in Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of 61, and was buried in Dallas County, Iowa.
