Winifred was born on 12 May 1907 in Woodbridge, Suffolk, England.^[1] Her parents were Robert and Eliza Garnham.

In 1911, Winifred was living with her parents, olders sisters and younger brother at Park Cottage, Boulge Nr Woodbridge, Suffolk.^[2]

Winnifred and Henry Alfred Harris (1903-1990) married on 27 Jul 1935 in the Parish Church, Boulge, Suffolk.^[3]

In 1939, Winifred and Henry were living at 37 Glebe Avenue, Harrow, Middlesex.^[4]

Winifred died on 22 Oct 1992 in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.^[5] At the time of her death, she was living at Field House Nursing Home, Townsend Road, Harpenden.^[6]
