OBITUARY

Mrs. A J Edwards Dead

After a long illness of more than a year, Mrs. Jeff Edwards passed away at her home in West Clarksville last Sunday morning, July 1, 1923. Mrs. Edwards was formerly Miss Amanda Garrett, the daughter of James Garrett. Mr. and Mrs. Edwards were the parents of fourteen living children. Until four years ago, when they moved to Clarksville, their home was at Edna in this county. Mrs. Edwards was a good woman and had scores of friends. She had patiently suffered long and much and welcome death when the final call came.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday by Rev. Mr. Robinson of the Methodist Circuit. Interment was made immediately after at Oakland cemetery. Her grave was covered with beautiful flowers.
