Death

He passed away in 1883 and is buried at Greenwood Cemetery in St. Albans, Vermont.

Alexander Alek Garrison is my 3rd Great Grandfather. Family Lore is that we are descendants of the Garrison Slaves. Since I am unable to find any information before Alexander, I am wondering if I would need to look at slave records? Do they exist?
