Biography

Uncle Julian as I knew him was brother to my mother, Juanita Garrison Kaar. He had a massive heart attack and dropped to the floor at the (Kingston, TN) hospital's checkout desk almost immediately after passing a stringent physical and checkup specifically for his chest pains. A shock to us all. I would have to dig deeper into family records to fill in some of the blanks above.

Jim Kaar
One of his nicknames when he was a child, was "Bugeye" and he had a good friend nicknamed "Willowfly". In the last 2-3 years before he passed, my wife and I would visit him and family on several occasions. Some of my favorite times were playing golf with Uncle Julian in the summers of 1968 & 1969. There should be more people like him.
