Bessie Irene Hale was born to Isaac F. "Ike" Hale and Martha E. Smith, in Tennessee, about 1892. She moved to Kansas with her family when she was young and stayed there for the remainder of her life. She married John J. Garrison and together they had 4 children: Lucille, Elmer, Lois and Ardith.
Bessie Irene Hale Garrison died in Kansas and is buried there as well.
