Hi. I have only just started to research my family tree, out of interest for myself and also for my 6 year old daughter. I have only gone back to the start of the century on my father's side but have already found it fascinating.

Coincedentally, I read an article in the Times today about your work and just thought it sounded like a brilliant idea.

I noticed you uploaded or plan to upload a GEDCOM. Our process here is a little different than what you might find on other sites because of our goal of growing one worldwide tree with a single profile for each individual. Here's is the link:

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/GEDCOM

Feel free to message me if you have any questions! TIP: If your ancestor was born over two hundred years ago, there's a very good chance she/he already has a profile on wikitree. Before creating a new profile, use the "search function" up on top to see if your ancestor is already here.
