Biography

Euphrosine Gauterot, veuve Pierre Granger, is on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville, Louisiana, at Plaque 3, Right. Listed with her are three of her children: Marie Anne, Joseph and Jean Baptiste. [1]

Euphrosine Gautrot was born 8 Mar 1724 in Grand Pré and christened there the same day. She was the daughter of Jean Gautrot and Annie Leblanc.[2][3]

She married Pierre Granger, son of the late Pierre Granger and Elisabet Gilbaud 23 Jan 1741 at Saint Charles des Mines, Grand-Pré, Acadia. [4][5]
